• Bloom and Board Pours offers a variety of custom services that specializes in floral and epoxy preservations. Floral preservations are either pressed or 3D Silica Gel dried. Epoxy preservations are poured to order with casting epoxy resin.

  • Once payment is received, you will receive an email or text with the details to drop off your flowers at a residential address.

  • No worries! That’s what’s so unique and special about working with us. If you don’t have your own flowers but still would like a custom piece, we can provide our own flowers with your personalized touches. If there are any unique flowers that you request, we can work with you to acquire those for an additional fee.

  • It depends. Customers may provide their own dried flowers for specific projects. If the flowers are brittle and 3D dried, they cannot be pressed.

  • At this time, we do not offer services to only preserve flowers.

  • Typically, the drying process for pressed florals requires the most amount of time due to the disassemble and reconstruction of the flowers. In addition, the flowers must be checked on and re-pressed frequently during the drying process. This process can take anywhere from 2 weeks to 6 weeks. With 3D dried flowers, the total time to completely dry ranges from 1 week to 4 weeks.

  • The epoxy resin pour process can range from 2 days to 2 weeks. The curing process can take up to an additional 2 weeks. This time is a true pour time and does not account for simultaneous projects, out of office days, or multiple customers. The sanding and finishing process takes the longest amount of time as it can be an iterative process to ensure the best results.

  • Leftover flowers are not given back to the customer. We preserve the bouquet provided and create products with the best blooms. Often leftover flowers may not be suitable for your piece, may have dried differently than other flowers, are torn, or not a good fit to include. Due to these reasons, only the flowers intended to be included in the final piece will be used.

  • Care and maintenance are key for keeping your piece in the best possible condition. Treat your piece like an art that requires optimal humidity, light, and temperatures. Epoxy resin is a thermoplastic material that deforms with excessive heat - the thinner the piece, the more likely it will warp with heat (i.e. coasters and trays). All epoxy resin material will amber and yellow over time, no matter which brand or quality used. Some brands have a slower rate than others. At Bloom and Board Pours, we use a high-quality UV resistant, non-yellowing epoxy resin. No matter, please keep pieces out of sunlight to ensure this process is not accelerated and to prevent discoloration of the epoxy (especially clear) and fading of the flowers. Please avoid harsh chemicals when cleaning the surface of the piece.

  • Similar in how to treat the epoxy resin, keep the framed flowers away from direct sunlight and excessive heat. In addition, high humidity can impact the condition of the blooms.

  • Yes. The epoxy resin is food safe and can be eaten off. It is not recommended to use a sharp knife to cut repeatedly of the surface of epoxy to avoid epoxy residue in food and to prevent scratches.

  • Epoxy resin is shatter-proof and will not break into small pieces when dropped. Resin pieces can be damaged with drops that impact edges and corners resulting in dents or cracks.
